Rhythm and RISE – 60th Anniversary Celebration

Rhythm and Rise
Celebrating 60 Years of CCP
June 9, 2026, 6 to 9 p.m.
Athletics Center, Main Campus
1700 Spring Garden Street | Entrance on 17th Street

Get down with CCP! Let’s celebrate our community together during a grand gathering on our home court.

Let us take you through a musical journey of Philadelphia’s sound, past and present, with live performances by CCP students and Spring Garden Records artists! DJ TouchTone will be setting the energy all night and we’ll also hear from Vertical Current, led by past Artist in Residence, Christopher Michael Stevens.

With Special Guest of Honor:

Award-winning entertainer, author, entrepreneur, and humanitarian, Philadelphia’s own, Patti LaBelle will be receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award!

Don’t miss out on:

  • Student artwork on display
  • Pottery wheel and other art demonstrations by students
  • Hors d’oeuvre creations from our Culinary Arts students, served by our Tourism and Hospitality Management students
  • Sumptuous dinner and libations
  • A live activation from our Automotive Technology program
  • Performances from Theater students

Your attendance will help us continue our mission of helping students rise up and complete their higher education goals. The event will benefit the Dr. Alycia Marshall Seventh President’s Fund.

We’ll also honor members of our community with achievement awards. Be a part of an unforgettable evening as we celebrate our students, awardees and 60 years of CCP.
