Planned Gifts

Planned giving refers to gifts other than cash, check or appreciated stock.  Including the College as a beneficiary in your Will, or as a beneficiary of your Retirement Account, Bank Account, or mature insurance policy is a planned gift. Donor Advised Funds, IRA Rollovers, Charitable Gift Annuities, and Charitable Remainder Unitrusts are other types of planned gifts.

The Legacy Society

Members of the Legacy Society express their commitment by naming Community College of Philadelphia Foundation as the beneficiary of a planned gift, which means including the College in their estate plans.

Planned gifts take a wide variety of forms and they can sometimes benefit donors financially, while also meeting important philanthropic goals.
